Copenhagen based area R&B & Jazz artist, Ida Astrid, began her musical career in stunning fashion with her first radio record, “Forbi nu". The record gained widespread support in Denmark and cemented her first step into pop R&B success.
Raised with a danish heritage, IDA treasured pop royalty Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey, and at 9, knew she wanted to be a pop star. Since then IDA has released several records showcasing her angelic vocals, skillful songwriting, and modern R&B and Jazz stylings.
In January 2024, IDA's debut Album, "Forever" Arrived at a time when the excitement for her music has never been stronger. As she sets herself apart in today's Jazz/R&B scene, IDA hopes that her music continues to inspire confidence in others and to be a voice for those who want to feel seen.

IDA ASTRID
is a highly acclaimed singer with a broad interest in different genres and is therefore seen in very different constellations - from R&B to jazz, pop, soul, and even as a songwriter in on the k-pop scene.
Her unique vocal ability has garnered numerous musical roles and huge concert features making her an unavoidable figure on the music scene in Scandinavia.
Since her early teenage years IDA has toured across Europe as a professional lead singer, performing in concert halls and festivals with over 10,000 attendees.
IDA regularly performs as a soloist with Weintertain, Front of House, & Niels Lan Doky International Jazz collective,
In July 2021 she performed as soloist with The Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective, in many venues and jazz festivals such as BRØNNUM, D'angle terre, & SOUND DUES jazz festival & many more.
Furthermore, IDA is an active songwriter.
For several years IDA has been working as a songwriter in collaboration with companies as Gl Music, and SM Entertainment in KOREA.
After being nominated with her song "Forbi nu" at the Danish Club Awards in 2019, she performed at many danish festivals such as Samsø Festival 2022, and club touring in DK.
Now she’s finally ready to share her music with the world. Her debut album “FOREVER” will be released this year.
