THE ALBUM / FOREVER
“Forever” is Ida Astrid’s debut album. Being officially released in February, 2024, the album showcases Ida’s high level skills as a vocalist, songwriter and as a co-producer. The album consists of 9 songs which were solely made alongside her friend and musical partner, Zac Celinder, who is an acclaimed musician, producer and performer within the industry, himself. The songs provide a journey through the mind of an optimistic soul going through trial and error towards becoming an aspirational love-seeking and independent young woman.
The album touches on heavy influence from Ida’s personal heroes such as singers like Brandy, Mariah Carey and from a songwriting perspective it is at times pointing onwards chord progressions that would remind you of Stevie Wonder. Meanwhile, bringing a contemporary and crispy sound brought by Zac’s harmonious choices and tight grooves, this album is the first out of many that will keep the listener pay attention to an international talent like Ida Astrid.
